„BE VIGILANT BOYS!” (2004-07-15)

|
| Our latest compact disc will have its debut on 1st August, that is day of 60th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising...
We recorded the CD entitled "Be Vigilant Boys" (in Polish: "Czuwaj Wiaro") at the request of the Warsaw Uprising Museum. The CD includes 10 songs, which are well know both to young and old people, who often sing and hum "Axe, hoe.." ("Siekiera, motyka"), "Michl's Palace" ("Pa³acyk Michla") or "A heart in a rucksack" (" Serce w plecaku"). All the songs, which have been newly adapted, are performed as a form of recognition and tribute to all those people who, being our age, decided to devote their lives while defending what they loved most. The melodies and the lyrics are beautiful testimony of those capable of enjoying every single moment of their lives, in spite of being surrounded by evil world and being unsure about their future. Young insurgents, for whom music was very important, fought and rested singing their favorite songs, the songs recorded by our group. We were assisted by Wojciech Waglewski, Marcin Pospieszalski, Piotr "Foot" ¯y¿lewicz, Cezary Paciorek and the String Quartet "Square" ("Kwadrat"). The CD includes also our new song "A song about a night" ("Piosenka o nocy"), which is the summary of the whole CD. The message of the song is to be always hopeful despite feeling miserable. Listen to the CD.
It is really worth your attention!

Our second album... (2004-07-15)

Our second album "Hello. Hello. Children of Europe" already available!
We entitled our second album "Hello. Hello. Children of Europe" ("Halo. Halo. Dzieci Europy") The main reason for choosing this particular title is that the word "hello" is understood similarly by children from Greece, France, Germany, England, Slovakia, Spain and Poland and even Hungary. On our compact disc you will find 13 songs in languages of these countries. The music is so excellent and catchy that once you listen to it you will keep humming our new and energetic pieces all the time. The children sing, whereas Joszko Broda plays of course on various kinds of pipes and fifes. Hungarian folk musicians Pál Havasréti, Gyorgyi Lanyi i Kálmán Gáspár play among other things the double bass, the viola, the short-necked lute, the drums and the dulcimer and Stanis³aw Stêpniak the unique three row harmonica. guitar. On our compact you can also hear the sound of the guitar. The instrument is played by Wojciech Waglewski from the band Voo-Voo.
Much can be said about the contents of the compact. We just want to mention that apart from the excellent music, also the lyrics are very important. They were created by Joszko's wife Debora Broda. We sing about things which should be vital for all children in the world, that is about: Love, Friendship and Joy.
It is a must to listen to this CD!
Our regards!!!
